As a former “Miss Teen SA”, “Miss SA” runner-up, International model and actress, Lisa has developed a passion and knowledge for women’s shoes that has been the genesis of her iconic shoe brand: “The Lisa King Collection”.

After modelling in her late teens, Lisa completed her studies in Advertising and Marketing Management in Cape Town before moving to Los Angeles where she studied acting and worked extensively for 8 years. During this period, Lisa modelled in Asia and Australia before moving to London in 1999 for 2 years where she worked for Levi Strauss.

In 2001, Lisa’s “African heart” was calling and she returned to Cape Town to start a family.

Lisa is the proud mother of 2 girls, Jessica and Rebecca-Rae and now lives in Cape Town, thriving under the African sun.

Lisa’s deep love for art and fashion prevailed and in 2003 she opened “The Lisa King Art Gallery” and in 2009, her pride, “The Lisa King Collection” was born.

Lisa’s vision is to provide her clients with beautiful and comfortable shoes that women feel proud to wear and therefore remain loyal to the brand.

Nothing makes Lisa happier than receiving an email from a happy customer rejoicing in the pleasure of her “Lisa King” shoes.
